An armchair in French seventeenth century style, the bead frame with tapestry upholstered back depicting a noble couple in late mediaeval dress amongst foliage, the open scroll arms carved acanthus on spiral twist supports to a sprung tapestry seat, on turned block legs, with pierced carved foliage apron-piece and front carved paw feet on spiral twist and block ‘H’ stretchers.

A 19th Century Low Splat-back Windsor Armchair. The hoop back with an unusual pierced upper & lower centre splat flanked by six ash spindles; three either side running through the arm bow with six further under arm spindles and baluster & ring turned end supports. The elm seat on ball turned legs united by a crinoline stretcher.
An 18th Century Boarded Oak Child's Rocking Chair. The tall shaped hump top back pierced with a trefoil and having a kick-out stabilizer skirt to the rear. The winged sides fretted with truncated heart-shaped handles above a plank seat, 14½ ins (37 cms) wide, 18 ins (46 cms) deep and 28½ ins (72 cms) tall.
A Delightful Early 19th Century Welsh Rustic Armchair of good rich colour & patination. The top rail having splayed ends pegged into tapering side supports with a single narrow splat to the centre. The shaped block arms resting on chamfered block posts leading down to a thick plank seat morticed through with three stick legs.
A Late 17th Century Joined Oak Back Stool attributed to South Lancashire/North Cheshire. The pierced scrolling cresting rail above a single back panel carved with a lozenge motif projecting demi-lunes from the sides with chip carved trefoil terminals. The plain upright supports capped with pyramid finials. The planked seat on run-moulded rails joining column turned legs with peripheral stretchers.
A 17th Century Oak Wainscot Chair. The deeply raked back having a single panel divided by channel moulding into a central lozenge and triangular corner sections framed by palmate stiles with small acorn finial surmounts and a shaped cresting rail inlaid with small bone roundels. The scroll end arms on rising baluster posts. The planked seat above similarly turned legs united by peripheral stretchers.
