A Late 17th Century Joined Oak Back Stool attributed to South Lancashire/North Cheshire. The pierced scrolling cresting rail above a single back panel carved with a lozenge motif projecting demi-lunes from the sides with chip carved trefoil terminals. The plain upright supports capped with pyramid finials. The planked seat on run-moulded rails joining column turned legs with peripheral stretchers.
