A George II mahogany open armchair, the padded back and seat covered with Bargello style fabric, with out-scrolling arms on unusual fan moulded front legs and claw and ball feet, possibly Irish. Lot 303
A George III green painted salon armchair attributed to Thomas Chippendale, covered with later damask fabric, the moulded scroll armrests above a serpentine seat and a fluted frieze, on turned tapering fluted legs, the seat rails with the distinctive slots that Chippendale used for cramps and holes where battens were screwed during transit.
