An unusually large early 20th century painted, planked and panelled pine long bench settle, having twin hinged seat compartments, each with zinc lined interiors, width 244cmCondition report: Seat height 65cm, height 104cm, depth 61cm. Settle is extremely heavy, and needs 4 people to lift it.

A Victorian green buttoned upholstered and brass studded two seater Chesterfield, raised on turned tapering forelegs, width 180cmCondition report: Stands well and appears overall structurally sound.Buttonback areas are well-worn and leather is crazed throughout.Other leather areas are probably replacement; colour is slightly darker and condition appears cleaner and more ‘fresh’.Upper stitching to leather panel at front is seat has come loose approx. 75% of the way along and requires repair.Studding and supports are good.

The cushion and squab have been upholstered in new London Transport Routemaster moquette with suitable leather finishing on the edges. NB: In the pictures, the squab and legs are just balanced for the photographs and not fully assembled in the correct positions. [1 unit]

2 rolls (approx 50 metres) of brand-new London Transport SEAT MOQUETTE as used on DMS, MB, SM etc buses and 1972 Tube Stock. Commissioned by Misha Black in 1965 and designed by Marianne Straub, the blue/green moquette was originally intended for the Victoria Line 1967 Tube Stock but wasn't ready in time. The rolls are in original packaging as delivered by the manufacturer. [approx 50 metres]
