Both chairs with Ercol straps, one chair with one strap replaced. Each chair worn and rubbed. Both left arms have small splits in them at join with stretcher. Each slightly dry and joints feel a little loose.

A Japanese stained Zitan bench, pierced and carved in high relief with birds, flowers and foliage, with simulated bamboo arms and legs, 160 cm wide See inside front cover colour illustration Condition report Report by RB Probably early 20th century. Very much in a market fresh condition. Overall dirty, quite a bit of wear and knocks, especially to the legs. It probably had some finials above the arms originally as there are two holes present with one of the square sections (with the holes) incomplete, the other crudely repaired. Both arms a bit wobbly, and where they are fixed to the seat they have three small plugs missing, with quite a few scratches and wear to the seat.

Folding armchair, made of beech, with some metalwork strapping, literally with a (modern) carpet for the seat, general wear and tear.

Most of these tickets are plastic, credit card style tickets with a designated seat imprinted upon them and could be said to be many years ahead of their time. Excellent items. Very good

1950 WORLD CUP TICKET A full ticket, which is unstamped, for the Maracana Stadium in Rio De Janeiro. The ticket states Numbered Seat in Portuguese and 2nd Match. When you look at the fixtures the 2nd match at the Maracana was England v. Chile but after research, collectors claim the England v. Chile was stamped on the ticket and is extremely rare and that the 2nd match ticket relates to Spain v. Chile. Good

An unusual late George III elm and ash Windsor arm chair, West Country The back with a concave cresting rail above four long spindles flanked by three short spindles all held in place by a round ended and scroll shaped rail, part of one end lacking raised upon curvilinear supports, large deep slab seat raised upon octagonal shaped supports, morticed through the seat, 108cms high, width arm to arm 67cms, depth of seat 47.5cms and 5cms thick. CONDITION REPORT: Arched cresting rail, the four upright spindles joining the cresting rail and the lower arm old but in my opinion replaced later, the scroll ended arm rail minor surface scratching, good condition, supports and spindles contemporary to chair, the seat some scratching to the surface, construction in good condition.
