A set of four Queen Anne provincial walnut side chairs, the dished top rails and solid vase splats above drop-in seats, on turned and blocked underframes with 'Braganza' scroll feet (4)/Provenance: Spetchley Park CONDITION REPORT: These are Queen Anne Style circa 1850, seats match but feet chipped and missing parts so they look odd. One is very loose on frame, seats all in poor condition; leather seats perished. One seat is very badly animal chewed.
A Flemish walnut armchair, part late 17th Century, the padded back with downswept leaf carved arms with scrolled handles, the turned supports above a stuffed seat, on turned legs with an H-stretcher, the front stretcher centred on a carved mask (some reconstruction) and another late 17th Century, the arched padded back with massive ogee arms above a stuffed seat, on turned and blocked legs and stretchers (restored) (2)/Provenance: Spetchley Park CONDITION REPORT: Chair 1 - Frame a bit wobbly. Arm support cracked. Legs and stretchers with minor bruises and scratches. Upholstery distressed.Chair with face mask stretcher - Frame good. Front stretcher has been crudely refined with screw to right upright. Legs and stretchers OK. Minor dents and bruises commensurate with age. Upholstery distressed. Back feet worn.
