AFTER MARCEL BREUER FOR HABITAT, SET OF SIX 'CESCA' CHAIRS CONTEMPORARY comprising four single and two carvers, each with caned seat and back rest, on poliched chrome supportsPlease note that two of the chairs appear to be associated or vice versa or altmeratively some have been worked on as two of the seat fronts are 2.8cm and the others 1.5cm; four out of the six seats appear to have been resprayed in a more matte blac, likely further repainting throughout albeit there is still some rubbing to finish in places, both of the sets of arms particularly glossy/shiny; the seat of one chair is noticeably lighter than the others, this has been recaned; four of the six seats appear to have been sanded or 'rounded off' compared to two others which are also those which haven't been resprayed as mentioned above; general wear with some small chips to frames, nicks, scratches and marks; no apparent breakages or damages otherwise; chrome with expected general wear (some scratches and pitting) but again four out of the six have a different, more brushed/satin finish to the chrome; in conclusion likely that four out of the six are later 'matched' chairs or certainly feature layer elements
