A Regency simulated rosewood triple chair back settee, on eight sabre legs and with brass casters, 168 cm wide See inside back cover colour illustration Condition report Report by GHWicker seat heavily holed and damaged, would probably need to be fully replaced. Structurally quite loose in several places, including both arms and most of the legs. The two central legs at the back have been reinforced with iron brackets. Generally wormed sporadically and with chips, scratches, gouges, losses and general wear and tear. Rear left back stretcher quite badly cracked and with some old reglueing, and various other old cracks and probable reglued sections. All repairs and damages would appear to be of quite considerable age.

Underside of seat has recent oak reinforcement block screwed in. Signs of reglueing in the centre of the X stretchers. Structurally with some movement but reasonably firm. Various other much older possible small repairs. General age related wear and patina.
CHELSEA ECWC - TICKET Very scarce Bruges v Chelsea ticket Cup Winners' Cup ticket 10 Mar 171. It is very unusual to find a seat ticket. Almost all that exist are unidentifiable mostly indicating the home Club but not the visitors and also lack the date. This one is attached to the entrance ticket. The ground ticket has been stapled to the seat ticket. The score has been written on the ticket and other than a little foxing is in good condition. Good
EXETER - MANCHESTER UTD TICKET 60 Scarce ticket for the Football League Cup tie, Exeter v Manchester United, 19/10/60, first ever League Cup game for both clubs. The match ended in a 1-1 draw with United winning the replay. The ticket is a Block B seat and has slight folds with a single digit number written on the front. Generally good
ENGLAND-SCOTLAND 44 Programme and ticket, England v Scotland, 14/10/44 at Wembley. The programme is signed on the team page by Scott, Hardwick, Smith, Matthews, Flewin and Broome (England) and by Shankly and Smith (Scotland). England won 6-2. Score, scorers noted, seat ticket is also in generally good condition. Generally good
SOUTHAMPTON CUP FINAL 1976 Good collection of items relating to the 1976 Cup Final and the Southampton victory over Manchester United at Wembley. Seven items, Southampton Cup Final rosette, match ticket (seat-fold), First Day Cover for the game signed by goal scorer Bobby Stokes, a letter to a Southampton supporter from referee of the match Clive Thomas, a letter from the FA to the same supporter in response to his request for the referees address, a programme for the match signed by Clive Thomas and a genuine press photograph showing the Queen presenting the trophy to Southampton captain, Peter Rodrigues and signed by Rodrigues. Excellent collection. Generally good
WORLD CUP TICKETS 1966 Set of ten tickets for the 1966 World Cup although unusually the tickets are not for all the London games but cover the six group games at Villa Park and Hillsborough, Quarter Final at Hillsborough, Semi-Final at Goodison Park, Third/Fourth Place game at Wembley and the Final at Wembley. All the tickets are reserved seat tickets and they come with the original ticket wallet issued to season ticket holders for the Tournament. The tickets are in good condition, no folds, no writing and very slight creasing to the Final ticket. Generally good
