18th Century Welsh oak farmhouse splat backed elbow chair of broad proportions with solid seat on square legs, overall 105cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Good original condition, apart from a split in the seat and the back top rail has been refixed using brass fold over straps.

18th Century English oak panel backed settle, the moulded top above five mahogany cross banded panels, scroll shaped open arms with cabriole type front legs, the seat now solid with made to measure fitted cushion. 183 x 59 x 109cm (W x D x H) approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Loss to top edge of back and split on opposite side. Wear to one of the arms, basically sound with good colour and patination.

Otherwise light general wear commensurate with age and use.

A Meissen figure of 'The Juggler' designed by Peter Strang circa 1976, modelled seated with traditional clown make-up, green hair and harlequin suit, juggling five 'Onion' pattern plates (each with crossed swords verso), with three clubs and two balls at his feet, on an octagonal base, under glaze blue crossed swords mark to the back of the seat, incised '60460', indistinct impressed ?40? and painted '81' to base, 27cm high CONDITION REPORT:The piece appears to be in good overall condition showing no visible chips, cracks or losses.

An Austin Pathfinder pedal car, circa 1950, later restored and finished in red livery, the removable arched bonnet enclosing a faux engine block with four spark plugs, the Bakelite three spoke steering wheel extending to a steering mechanism and three spoke yellow wheels with pneumatic tyres, the interior with painted faux dials, padded backrest and seat, 140cm long NOTE: The Austin Pathfinder pedal car was produced at the Austin Motor Company Ltd Junior Car Factory in Bargoed, South Wales, 1949-50, by ex -miners who based the design on a pre-Second World War racing car. About 200 rolled off the production line each week. The factory opened in July 1949 to provide work for miners who were unable to continue working due to ill health.
