A late Victorian Wadman Brothers of Bath walnut and stained beech adjustable patent piano stool, with stencil mark to base, no.1136, with button upholstered padded seat, width 44cm. CONDITION REPORT: Legs have been stained and re-polished. Few scratches. Otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
A 1940s oak hall stand with central box seat and hinged lid flanked by two umbrella/stick stands, with swing bevelled mirror and set of hooks (two missing), width 86cm, height 177cm. CONDITION REPORT: Only 4 hooks are present (originally 6), and one of the 4 is detached. Also there are some minor losses to the decoration above the seat, general wear commensurate with age.

A good set of ten Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs circa 1900 Each with arched leafy cresting rails above pierced quatrefoil and leaf splats stuff-over tapestry seats raised upon front acanthus leaf carved cabriole legs claw and ball feet plain rear legs, eight side chairs 95.5cm x 58cm wide and two conforming elbow chairs 101cm x 62.5cm. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2141: The elbow chairs - no breaks or repairs, minor surface scratching some wear and scratching to the carving on front legs and to the claw and ball. One of the pair of elbow chairs - strengthening dowel to the back upright where the out swept arm joins. Minor roundel visible from the back no other signs of break or cracking. The side chairs - no breaks surface scratching, one side chair surface scratching to out set rear legs, all seats have a tapestry stuff-over seat all in good condition. Some surface rubbing and scratching to the leafy knees and claw and ball feet.

A large single seat G & J Lines galloper circa 1895 Has had some restoration work including new legs and paint work has been partially stripped. Gold leaf remains on the main - in need of restoration with multicoloured paint work. An early Victorian walnut nine piece drawing room suite of similar design Comprising a chaise lounge, with a curvilinear leaf and flower carved padded back, padded serpentine seat with out swept leaf and rose carved curvilinear arms the apron carved with leaves and flowers raised upon front scroll legs, outset rear legs, brass castors, with a near conforming set of six spoon back dining chairs with leaf carved cresting rails, serpentine padded seats raised upon front curvilinear legs, plain outset rear legs, a similar gentleman's chair with a shaped waisted back carved with leaves, scrolling leafy arms, padded serpentine seat, fruit and leaf carved front legs, plain outset rear legs, and a similar but not identical spoon back ladies chair upholstered in the same material (9) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2233 - Is a Harlequin composed set and each piece does not match. of similar design. The spoonback chairs, the six spoonback chairs, one with a piece of moulding detached from apron of chair, some with a treacly running vanish, the elbow chair old break to left hand arm, substantial metal plate applied to the exterior measures approx 21cms, some movement in back right hand outswept leg, some shrinkage to joints, spoon back chair some shrinkage to joints. Chaise Lounge - some shrinkage to joints, some old varnish, castors lacking to back legs, upholstery matches all nine pieces, average condition for upholstery.
