A set of four black leather and chrome cantilever chairs,designed by Serge Chermayeff (1900-1996) originally for the BBC, each with black leather seats, 52cm wide52cm deep80cm high, seat 46cm high (4)Serge Chermayeff was born in Grozny, Russia and moved to the UK when he was young, obtaining British citizenship in 1928. He worked on design projects around the country including the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea. In 1940, he emigrated to the USA and continued to teach design at various universities.

One of the armchairs has the seat which is spotted - possibly needs cleaning and bringing out the colour. Chrome altogether good.There are bolts that hold the seat together, these could be loosened to dismantle the frame and seat/back.
