Modernist leather and stainless steel armchair by Sunpan, of recent manufacture, deep buttoned seat, back and arms, raised on polished stainless steel base, 82cm x 78cm x 71cm highThe chair has scuff marks on the side and rear in multiple places and there is damage to the front of the seat, it looks like claw marks. It would benefit from a deep clean.

Lot 498

Mahogany and caned library bergere, circa 1835, the backrest with down swept sides curved top rail above caned back and seat and serpentine moulded front seat between parterae raised on knopped and stop-reeded front supports on brass castors, the back legs splayed, 48cm x 60cm x 81cm highthe seat height is 36.5cm. The chair has cracks on the hoop of the backrest though this has not affected the structure. There are minor areas of damage to the cane and a very slight sag of the seat.

Pair of early 20th Century Arts & Crafts oak window seats, each with pierced carry handles, the chamfered uprights with octagonal finials flanking cupboard door, 79cm x 37cm x 41cm high, and a matching night cupboard, 43.5cm x 37.5cm x 72cm high (2)The lighter window seat has a split to the panel on one end and a missing piece of wood to the other end. While structurally sound, there is some loosening to the joints on all pieces. All pieces have signs of wear to edges, etc, with some scratching, staining and heavy wear to the finish.

A pair of original 19th Century Circa 1860's Coalbrookdale cast iron medallion pattern garden benches. Both catalogue reference No. 35 with central plaque depicting a maiden holding birds among scrolling flowers & leaves to the backrests. The arms further decorated with botanicals and birds having ball finial tops. All raised on elegant horse hoof legs with wooden slatted seats. Stamped C B Dale to front with correct date lozenge and reference to verso. In original condition with the weathered paint finish due to age. Some repairs in places over the years and bolt repair to one leg however leg is loose but sits on via the rod / bolt. A rare and scarce pair of Victorian Coalbrookdale benches.
