A Fine 17th Century Joined Oak Settle. The back having three shallow upper panel carved with scrolls of foliage, thistles and flower heads above four deeper panels carved with flowering plants within a run-moulded framework. The downswept scroll end arms resting on turned posts leading down to a 74 ins (188 cms) long plank seat supported on turned baluster front legs with peripheral stretchers connecting them to the rear stile supports and a runmoulded muntin reinforcing the centre.
A pair of early Victorian oak hall chairs, the carved back with a central sunken shield cartouche, having solid seat on faceted tapering forelegs, 88cm h . Ring mark to one seat but in overall good original condition, albeit rather faded, no damage restoration, one or two of the blocks may have been reglued/replaced
A William IV mahogany portable water closet, by Henry Marriott, the lid enclosing a fitted interior with hinged seat, Davenport blue printed floral earthenware conical pan with cartouche of MARRIOTT PATENTEE 26 LUDGATE HILL AND 89 FLEET ST LONDON, with printed drain cover with a further inscription BY HIS MAJESTY'S ROYAL LETTERS PATENT. . a brass plunger and carrying handles to the side, bun feet, 50ch h; 56 x 46cm, stamped 1020, c1824-42 In an unusually fine state of preservation with no damage, replacements or serious faults
A set of eight carved mahogany dining chairs by James Shoolbred Co, in George II style, with blind fret and scrolling open splat, drop-in seat and on shell carved cabriole legs, with claw-and-ball feet, the set including a pair of elbow chairs, ivorine trade label of JAS SHOOLBRED & CO LTD, 95cm h, early 20th c . All in good condition except one chair with loose joints between the seat and back which could be easily repaired, the yellow striped upholstery a little stained on one or two of the chairs
A George IV mahogany and caned bergere, the swept back with overscrolled and curved rail, carved with a sunken lotus meander flanked by acanthus leaves, the moulded seat rail with rosettes, on reeded tapering legs, 86cm h, the rail stamped FF . The cane perished and very dirty overall with much accretion of dust and grime but no damage or repairs, in entirely original condition
A pair of George III mahogany chairs, with upholstered back and stuffed over seat, on chamfered united by stretchers, 95cm h . In basically good original condition, a few scuffs and scratches around the legs etc. Upholstery not matching. On one chair a severe crack on the inside of the back of one of the back legs

One chair rather faded and with a split in the arm bow and old replacement back legs, the second chair with some old worm damage in the edge of the seat but in sound original condition
