The hoop back above a pierced centre splat and four turned ash spindles piercing the bowed arm rail flanked by further baluster & ball turned supports. The shaped elm seat above conforming legs united by a crinoline stretcher and raised on rockers.
A 19th Century Yew Wood Splat Back Windsor Armchair. The bowed top rail above eight spindles piercing the arm rail and centred by a shaped splat pierced with a fleur-de-lys and heart motif. The shaped elm seat with scribed edging line above baluster turned legs united by an H-form stretcher.*
A Fine Late 17th Century William & Mary Joined Oak Side Chair. The domed cresting rail having voluted terminals above three moulded vertical splats flanked by turned uprights with urn knop finials. The planked seat in a raised & moulded frame to retain a swab cushion. The out-swept moulded arms terminating with inverted scrolls. The caned seat above cabriole legs enriched with beaded decoration joined by a shaped H-form stretcher and terminating on briganza feet.

The oak frame with an unusual X-form stretcher composed of S-scrolls adjoining a square canted centrepiece.
