With scroll carved arch topped backrest painted in the manner of Vernis Martin with an allegorical scene, having overstuffed seat and raised on carved cabriole supports terminating on hoof feet. 153cm high, 140cm wide. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Top of backrest re glued.

A George III figured mahogany eight day longcase clock by William Randall of Newbury, Berkshire. With silvered arch top dial engraved with husk swags, flower spandrels and incorporating three subsidiaries for seconds, date and strike / silent mechanism, striking half hourly on a bell. 212cm high. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Mechanism working, wear to the silvering but original. There have been some alterations to the cheeks and the seat board is not original. Case in fair condition.
