Thonet - A rare and unusual late 19th to early 20th Century bentwood rocker / rocking chair having a weaved cane backrest, armrests and seat with scrolled bentwood formed construction, all raised on sleigh runners. Unusual model with armrests. Childs variation in the V&A museum. Marked Thonet to underside, 102cm x 65cm x 80cm.

A late 17c/early 18c walnut and oak armchair profusely carved with fruiting vine, leaf and flowers, having a painted and carved shield pediment, supported by two winged putto, the downswept arms leaf carved on twist carved base, the front stretcher carved with eagle and swags. Uphholstered back panel and seat, 66cm w, 138cm h.
An early to mid-19th century mahogany and crossbanded longcase clock, the repainted arch dial inscribed 'WM Travis, Leek' above lancet shaped short door and plinth base, height 230cm, sold with two weights and a pendulum.Additional InformationLoses to the case and old repairs to the veneers, some veneers missing, dial is repainted as mentioned, the seat boards have been replaced and altered. The movement is 8 day and the clock is sold with two weights and a pendulum. Either side of the door the darker sections are complete replacements to the veneer.
Eight 19th century Windsor chairs by Prior, comprising six single and two open arm carvers, each chair with typical three-splat back with bullseye turnings to centre of each, yew frame, ash saddle seat with scribed edge, crinoline stretchers.Condition report: All chairs in need of restoration with signs of woodworm.Images show all damage, some chairs have new turned rails, one chair has two new front legs, some have metal braces, some have screws put through the joints, all chairs have evidence of woodworm some of it live. some chairs have small extensions to the front legs.
