A Georgian mahogany carver chair with deep buttoned leather seat Condition The chair came from Skellingthorpe Manor where it has been for a number of years. There is no worm or recent waxing. The left arm (viewed when sat in) is loose where it joins the back (slight wobble) there have been some old repairs where top back bow meets top of legs/frame Rear legs joint is loose where right leg joins cross stretcher Surface of wood has scuffs & marks consistent with age. Heater seat has no rips, appears original, is dirty in places and has a cigarette burn on front left corner near frame
