Simple facial applique detail, and her ample breasts are adorned with fine, layered necklaces. Right hand missing, loss to left wrist, repaired break at waist and reattached to seat. Original vintage Art Deco style classic car advertising poster - Invest in an Austin Britain's dependable car. Colourful illustration by Norman Howard (1899-1955) featuring an elegant young lady driver at the wheel of a green Austin Eighteen saloon car with a lady wearing a fur coat sitting on the back passenger seat and a man in uniform holding the door open for a gentleman wearing a bowler hat, the car waiting in front of a bank building with a columned entrance and people walking along the pavement, the stylised lettering and red Austin logo above. The Austin Motor Company Limited was an English manufacturer of motor vehicles founded in 1905 by Herbert Austin; the company merged with Morris Motors as part of the British Motor Corporation BMC in 1952, producing cars under the Austin marque until 1987. Produced from 1937-1939, the Austin 18 car model could carry five to seven passengers. Horizontal. Good condition, staining, tears, creasing, paper losses. Country of issue: UK, designer: Norman Howard, size (cm): 51x76, year of printing: 1930s.
A Victorian style cast aluminum garden bench, in the manner of Coalbrookdale, Neo Gothic style, painted grey and white, the cast ends with scrolled arm rests, and a cast back centred by a shield panels clasped by leaves and flanked by Gothic style arches, wooden slatted seat, 150 by 64 by 103cm high.

A medium Oak hall settle having a locker-base seat, the three panelled back with a central carved illustration of a gladiator fighting a Lion, the flanking panels depicting shield amidst flames, the arms with Lion mask terminals, the shaped pediment carved with a fearsome face. 59 1/2" long, 19" deep and 52 1/2" high approx.
An antique Oak narrow, high-backed penance/correction chair of early design and peg-joyned construction having brass studded leatherette/Rexene upholstery to the seat and to the back-rest and standing on turned front legs. Chairs of this type were apparently used as a punishment for children having committed misdemeanors and being most uncomfortable would no doubt have proven a discouragement from further indiscretions. 36 1/4" high and 8 5/8" wide, approx.
