A 19th Century painted wrought iron garden bench, the back of simple cross form and slatted seat height97cm lenght 156cm depth40cm. CONDITION REPORTS Signs of rusting and flaking and losses to paintwork throughout. There is a split to the middle support bar on the seat on the join to the bacl. Both rosettes have been crudely applied / joined, possible old repairs under old paintwork, seems to be screwed together rather than riveted. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. A 17th Century Dutch walnut framed barley twist decorated armchair with verdure tapestry back panel and seat 61 cm wide x 50.5 cm deep x 90 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Whilst the chair appears basically sound, it has clearly had some restoration over the years. The upholstery or at least the covering appears to be, if not original, of the period. The seat side rails appear to have been replaced. The woodwork throughout has signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use. The top section of the arm handle to the left hand side looking at it is in a slightly different wood. The right hand arm has a nail holding a section on - see images for further detail. The legs appears sound though have signs of woodworm and further wear and tear conducive with age and use and some loss to the bottom of the feet because of that old woodworm. The upholstery has signs of later stitching in some areas though not recent - see images for further detail
A circa 1900 teak framed campaign chair with leather strap arms and canvas seat and back, the back with hand written inscription "C.W. Gordon Bryan, RAMC" (author of "Simple Method of Amputating the thigh" - 1944, Lancet) 54 cm wide x 55 cm deep x 76 cm high together with a Carolean style oak framed and caned hall chair and a Hepplewhite design pierced slat back dining chair with drop in seat CONDITION REPORTS Campaign chair only - the leather strapping is stained and broken in several places. The canvas back has been ripped to one side and repaired and there is a hole on the other side. Stained and discoloured as per the seat. Joints loose / twist. Canvas seat to the back has pulled through one of the tacks. Woodwork has water marks as well as some paint splashes, etc. There is a larger scratch and one hole that looks woodworm size but is one hole only to the left hand side front leg. No other holes visible anywhere else throughout the piece. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more details.

A circa 1900 mahogany framed and double caned Bergere armchair in the Regency style with guilloche, barley twist and fluted carving, 62 cm wide x 95 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Please see images of cane work without cushion. Please note, areas of damage to caning to the left hand outer side bottom right panel, left hand inside just off centre and right hand side outer panel bottom left. Otherwise cane work appears basically sound. There are signs of wear and tear conducive with age throughout. The seat assumed to be formerly caned with a fabric covering and with replacement inner seat rails - all done some time ago. Evidence of re-gluing where legs join the seat. Leg length slightly different and so the chair does have a wobble. Fine split to seat adjacent to front right arm support. Brace to mid rail on one side. General signs of age and use throughout including typical wear and scuffing.

A set of eight Regency mahogany and ebony strung sabre-leg dining chairs, with reeded and ebony strung top rails and fluted openwork splats, the stuff-over seats raised on turned front supports and square sabre back supports, seat height 45cm. (8)All eight are from the same set. All sturdy to the joints with no play or movement. Two have 'original' leather upholstery and these two also have repairs to the backs where the side rails join the seat. All have general cosmetic marks, dints and scratches consistent with age and use. The reeded section at the top of the top rail to one chair is loose. Colour and figuring fair throughout but does vary on each chair.

PETER HALSE; a 20th century Scandinavian design teak three-seat settee with bergère inset panels to the arms and upholstered with separate seat and back cushions in cream and grey woven material, on turned tapering legs, maker's label no.6219678, 64 x 158cm. CONDITION REPORT The seat cushion back seam has come unstitched, so it needs re-stitching (this is unseen). The woodwork has the usual signs of wear, including fading, scratches and knocks.
