A George III style inlaid mahogany window seat, 118 cm wide Condition report Report by GH Both end loose and move freely. There is a metal brace underneath the centre part of the seat from one side to the other (possibly original). The veneer is generally badly chipped, scratched and stained in places, with a crack to the top of one of the arms which has some movement. No obvious restoration. Upholstery ripped, stained and generally in very poor condition. Overall poor.

A pair of early 19th century mahogany hall chairs, the shaped backs painted crests, on lotus leaf capped turned front legs (2) See illustration Condition report Report by GH The back right leg of one of the chairs has been broken off and re-glued, leaving a large crack and area of loss to the back. The rear left leg of the same chair has possibly suffered the same fate but not as bad, however, there is a large crack and glue residue visible at the back of the chair. The back legs of the other chair are in better condition, with no evidence of any breakages or repairs. Both chairs have a fair amount of movement suggesting loose joints. The back and seat of one of the chairs is much looser than the other. The front legs on both chairs generally reasonable with no obvious signs of any previous damage or repair. Otherwise chairs generally chipped, scratched, dented and gouged commensurate with age and use. Both chairs have rather a lot of old furniture polish stuck in the decoration. Both painted crests are in reasonable condition with some crazing and ingrained dirt but no significant damage or restoration. Both chairs have stamped serial numbers to the underside, the first 23218 and the other 25762.

A set of twelve Queen Anne style walnut dining chairs, with shell capped cabriole front legs with claw and ball feet (10+2) (12) See illustration Condition report Report by GH The height to the top of the seat pad is 49 cm. Polish is generally in reasonable condition with some scuffing and wear to the usual areas, particularly around the feet and corners. Frames feel fairly sturdy and tight with no more than the expected amount of movement when jogged. None of the chairs appear to have sustained any major damage or restoration. Usual chips, scratches and wear commensurate with age and use. Occasional signs of old wood worm. Upholstery on drop in seats with occasional stains and some wear.

A Chinese hexagonal garden barrel seat, with patê-sur-patê type decoration, 47.5 cm high Condition report Report by GH Some scratches to faces of the seat. Occasional small firing blemishes. Some very small cracks to overlaid decoration on the top in two of the leaves. No signs of any structural hairline cracks or cracks. No obvious restoration. Overall good.
