These dishes were probably made for Mr Fenwick, Chief Supercargo on East Indiaman 'Marlborough' at Canton 1716 (arms: per fess gules and argent six martlets counter charger a mullet for difference; crest, a phoenix in flames proper)/Literature: David Sanctuary Howard, C3, page 188 Condition Report: Good condition overall. No damage or restoration noted. Minor scratching and stacking wear to the enamels.
