A Victorian style carved walnut armchair, the heavily carved top rail with central mask, upholstered back splat, flanked by foliate carving and barley twist supports, above stuff over seat, raised upon turned barley twist supports, terminating in block feet, united by barley twist stretchers, 130cm.
An Empire revival armchair, second half of the 19th Century, the mahogany and parcel gilt frame with moulded gilt mounts, the arms resting on a pair of winged and helmeted heads, upholstered in red silk with embroidered “N” in a laurel wreath to the back and seat, 110cm high x 70cm wide x 65cm deep

2 5” gauge riding trolleys, both approx 36” long, one has built up plate frame construction, thin plate frome bogies with external springing, brass bearing blocks, with coil stringing, 8 wheel braking, buffers and draw hooks; the other is stepped angle construction, cut frame bogies, cover plates to bearings, rubber block springing and fitted raised track seat, interesting central brake pad bears on track when operated. 2” and 2½” wheel diameters. Provenance: Armorial book-plate of Thomas Weld-Blundell nephew of Cardinal Thomas Weld of Lulworth Castle the first Englishman to have a seat in the Conclave since the pontificate of Clement IX.

A set of five George III mahogany Gothick armchairs in the manner of Gillows each with arched top rail above a pierced tracery back above downswept arcaded arms with reeded terminals and supports and upholstered seat standing on slender tapering reeded legs (5) Note These chairs bear a close resemblance to a Gillows design for those commissioned for the Grand Jury Room Shire Hall Lancaster in 1801
