2 5” gauge riding trolleys, both approx 36” long, one has built up plate frame construction, thin plate frome bogies with external springing, brass bearing blocks, with coil stringing, 8 wheel braking, buffers and draw hooks; the other is stepped angle construction, cut frame bogies, cover plates to bearings, rubber block springing and fitted raised track seat, interesting central brake pad bears on track when operated. 2” and 2½” wheel diameters. QGC (one wheel loose on shaft, bolts missing from bogie support plate and frame twisted)

London: printed by S.R. for Robert Clavell 1685 [i.e. c. 1794]. second edition folio contemporary tree calf spine decorated gilt in compartments joints cracking. Note: Moule 320 suggesting the date of c. 1794 for this edition which was re-issued with the original imprint. Copies not traced in either NLS or BL. Provenance: Armorial book-plate of Thomas Weld-Blundell nephew of Cardinal Thomas Weld of Lulworth Castle the first Englishman to have a seat in the Conclave since the pontificate of Clement IX.
