An incredibly rare original WWII Second World War Avro Lincoln navigator's crew seat / chair. Riveted aluminium frame, with original leather seat and backrest present. Avro-Lincoln specific bracket still remains to underside, with attachments. Seat restraint stamped 1945 with maker's details. An incredibly rare original Lincoln crew seat. Measures approx; 77cm tall. Very rare.NOTE: The seat casing itself was non-specific to Lincolns and Lancasters, and the two were actually interchangeable. Only the mounting bracket was different for fitment into either aircraft. The Avro Type 694, better known as the Avro Lincoln, was a British four-engined heavy bomber, which first flew on 9 June 1944. Developed from the Avro Lancaster, the first Lincoln variants were initially known as the Lancaster IV and V, these were renamed Lincoln I and II. It was the last piston-engined bomber operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF).NOTE: Proceeds from this lot are being donated towards the ' Attack On The Sorpe Dam ' film project. The film tells the story of the famous Dambusters raid of WWII, and features testimony from George 'Johnny' Johnson himself.

Still mounted upon its adjustable 'handbrake' style mount (in working order). Retains original seat restraint. A rare survivor. A French carved and gilded beechwood wingback armchair, 19th century, the serpentine back with ribbon carved moulded showframe and floral surmount, over padded arms on channelled scroll supports, the square seat and back upholstered in deep pink silk damask, raised on fluted tapered legs and toupie feet, 45½in. (115.5cm.) high, 25¼in. (64cm.) wide.

A 19th century walnut porter's chair, probably Continental, the high shaped chimney back of closed slatted form, with scroll top rail, over a replaced solid seat with loose squab cushion, raised on square tapered legs with spade feet and shaped brackets, 52in. (122cm.) high, 29½in. (75cm.) wide.

A Japanese carved ivory pot and cover, Meiji period (1868-1912), the circular box heavily carved throughout with dragons amidst stylised clouds, the cover with ball finial, signed with single red character mark to base, interior and cover, 3 1/8in. (8cm.) high.* Condition: Good condition, with no damage to ivory. Cover does not seat properly on one side, although it does appear to be original.

Three 19th century Chinese Canton carved ivory bodkin cases, one carved with a dragon, birds and butterflies amidst cloud scrolls, the cover with bud finial and on a turned reel base with rosette terminal, 6½in. (16.5cm.) long; the other two cases similarly carved, 5 7/8in. to 6in. (14.9cm. to 15.2cm.) long, each containing various ivory bodkins. (3)* Condition: The first case with tiny chip to top of threaded section on main body. Otherwise good. The other two lack the finial. One also has a hairline crack to the cover and the cover also does not seat properly on the threads.
