An Edwardian upholstered button back parlor sofa. With a low back rest, the seat of serpentine form, raised on turned frontal supports to casters, upholstered in cream fabric, L196cm x H72cm Condition Report: Overall in good condition. Casters are unoriginal. Has been later reupholstered. Some tears and fraying to the fabric (mainly to one of the cushions and around the seams). Some stains and discolouration to the fabric. Firm and comfortable to sit on. Feet show some wear including scratches however no obvious cracks, worm or restoration.
A Mendlesham (East Anglia) fruitwood Arts and Crafts style Windsor chair. With high square back above pierced splat flanked by spindles and beads, with shaped open arms and elm seat, on turned baluster splayed legs joined by stretcher, 82cm high Condition Report: Slight movement on the left arm with a small hairline crack at the join of the back rest movement to both arm supports, white staining around the leg joint and seat underneath, arm to arm 51.5cm, hieght of seat 43cm.
A mid-19th century comb-back Windsor armchair of good colour and large proportions: yew wood bows and pierced splat above shaped and patinated elm seat, turned slightly splaying legs united by a crinoline stretcher (57.5 cm widest point at arms x 108 cm high)Condition Report: Dimensions: arms 57cm wide x 108cm high to top of back x 51.5cm wide (seat) x 44cm height of the seat. The item is not perfect: there is 5cm crack to the top rail and behind that a 20cm fillet let-in (much darker) visible from the top. The front view: 4cm split on the arm terminal. The seat appears OK, some small splits to the uprights. Front right leg some splitting to the leg. Historic repair to the right-hand vertical upright under the arm. Crinoline stretcher has also been repaired at the back (was badly split) and to the back of the front legs. Overall a nice looking chair with a good colour but not without issues.
