Set of eight Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs, six chairs and two carvers, stuff over seats raised on ball and claw feet. Retailers label JA Butti and Son, Edinburgh Chairs are overall in a good condition. The two carvers are sturdy with no noted repairs or damages apart from a stracth to the side of one. The six chairs do have some sunbleaching. Four are sturdy but two do wobble a bit when tested. Some fading to a couple of the seat covers and a stain to one of the covers. One chair has a chipped piece of wood just below the cushion but the wood on the others appears to be all intact and in a good condition. No damages noted to the ball and claw feet. Five chairs have the retailers label underneath. We would estimate these chairs to date from the 2nd half of the 19th century.
