An early 20th Century metamorphic folding library chair / steps in the Regency manner. The chair having a shaped backrest with large scrolled arms with reeded detailing. Red leather studded seat rest with all unfolding to reveal a set of stepps. Wear commensurate with wear. Measures approx; 91cm x 55cm x 52cm.
A pair of 19th Century Italian Renaissance Revival hand carved walnut Sgabello Chairs / stool hal chairs. The chairs with ornate carved backrests depicting scrolls, acanthus leaves and star motifs raised on domino turned seat over decorated scroll leg supports. Measures approx; 97cm x 28cm x 34cm.
Finmar Furniture - A mid century Finmar model 51 armchair designed by Alvar Aalto and similar folding occasional table. [2] The chair has the Finmar label to the underside of the chair. (photo attached) Condition Report: Chair appears structurally sound, there are a couple of screws missing from the seat section or original screws removed and re-drilled, scrape / scuff marks throughout. Tim Stead, late 20th Century elm dining table & six chairs. The table with a central rift that splits the table into two sections standing on four legs each united by stretchers. 146cm wide, 138cm deep, 74cm high. The six chairs are high back and carved with a rectangular motif in the top left or right side of the chair back. Each chair has a scooped seat with four square section legs. All chairs are similar in design but vary slightly in execution and by measurements. 39cm wide, 50cm deep, 119cm high (seat height 44cm). No signature or stamps on the chairs or table.
Pair of Tim Stead elm single high back chairs with an elongated back made up of horizontal strips a number of woods to include sycamore and ash between two elm stiles. The scooped seat stands of four legs united on three sides by stretchers. Areas of the wood have been filled by a bronze paste. 47cm wide, 53cm deep, 122cm high (seat height 44cm).
Eight mid 20th century Art & Crafts style oak dining chairs to include 6 standard chairs and 2 carvers. The chairs have a carved decorative panel at the top of the back above five beaded splats, each chair has a green upholstered seat and the four legs are united by a H-shaped stretcher, chairs 49cm wide, 48cm deep, 109cm high, carvers 59cm wide, 58cm deep, 121cm high.Chairs in good condition. Standard chairs are all solid with no movement, the carvers however have a couple of loose joints that move when sat on. Carving to the back of each set is in good condition.
