A pair of 19th Century beech, ash and elm stick back kitchen chairs with panelled seats CONDITION REPORTS First chair 88.5 cm tall at back, 40 cm tall at seat. Second chair approx. 88 m at back, 40- cm tall at seat. First chair with long old splits to seat, assorted scratches, dents and other marks, split low down on the back rail, top with assorted splits and scratches, top of one spindle showing through rail, chair wobbles slightly on flat surface, most joints creaking, general signs of wear and tear throughout, also a split running up one of the legs. Second chair with assorted scratches, small nibbles, general wear to seat, slight movement in back rest, one of the stretchers is loose resulting in some loose legs, splits in the legs, some old woodworm holes under, splits in wood to the back of seat, general splits in wood to top rail, general signs of wear and tear throughout.

AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY MAHOGANY ARMCHAIR craftsmen made by Mr Cecil Viney former serviceman. The humped top rail carved with initials CRV within a strung border, carved ends having military shoulder pips. The padded back with slender shaped wings flowing to the partially padded arms with carved caryatid terminals, the sprung seat raised on inlaid square section uprights finishing with carved shoe formed feet. 91cm (h) ***For further details of Mr Cecil Viney see Both Sides of the Counter by Irene Viney, Published by Regency press. A VICTORIAN COALBROOKDALE `LILY OF THE VALLEY` PATTERN CAST-IRON GARDEN BENCH fully marked C B Dale Co with registration lozenge and pattern number, This design, number 171578 was registered and patented at the Public Records Office on the 8th February 1864 by Coalbrookdale and was seat number 36 in their castings catalogue of 1875. 83.5cm(h) x 156cm(w) Later painted in white with replacement light oak seat rails.

A LARGE 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY DESK to seat four people, having a rectangular moulded top with inset maroon leather skiver and central drawer, the right pedestal with brushing slide and drawers, the left with slide, drawer and three side drawers, the sides arched, the opposing end with slender supports and frieze drawers, on plinths. 79cm(h) x 192cm(w) x 150cm(d) Splits^ depletions^ marks and scratches^ viewing advised.
