A late George III mahogany framed three seat settee with cream ground foliate patterned upholstery, with reeded hand rests to a turned and fluted, raised on three square sectioned tapering front legs to brass caps and castors, 180cm wide CONDITION REPORTS There is some slight "give" in it when sat in. The frame with some scratches, chips, deep impressed marks, dark marks etc throughout. The central castor in particular does not appear to fit the leg quite properly. The fabric appears to be yellowed, dip to the centre cushion, some water stains, dirty marks etc throughout. All over general signs of wear and tear.
A set of six 18th Century boullework decorated dining chairs, the backs with scrollwork supports enclosing a vase shaped back splat over a drop-in seat with serpentine front rail, on cabriole front legs, united by shaped stretchers (4 plus 2 carvers) CONDITION REPORTS Overall condition in need to restoration many areas of loss of brass inlay and tortoise shell inlay signs of wood worm dead in several areas in several chairs - suggest full restoration throughout required. See images close up on one standard chair and one carver chair as representative of other - all in similar condition throughout - would recommend viewing in person.
A Derwent floral upholstered two seat sofa in the Howard manner, raised on turned and ringed front legs to brass caps and white china castors CONDITION REPORTS No loose covers, wear to the arms, discolouration throughout although somewhat disguised by the upholstery, underneath has a tear and the back legs are worn possibly dog-chewed
A Victorian mahogany framed buttoned yoke back library chair in black leather upholstery with carved mahogany back supports, on turned and carved front legs CONDITION REPORTS Leather is stained, scratched and dirty. The frame - the bracket on the right-hand side under the arm is broken in two. There are cracks to the back rail, there is wear to the carving all over as well as various surface scratches. The varnish is discoloured in various places. The pins are rusting, there are significant scratches to the brackets on the back. One front cap and castor is missing completely, the others are rusting and showing verdigris and patination and some pitting. Various surface scratches etc General wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for further details. Inside arm to arm 53 cm, inside back to top of front seat 64 cm, widest part of the seat is approximately 61 cm
A Märklin of Germany Brougham Series two seat horse carriage with driver seat, painted tin plate, box 16 cm long not including hames CONDITION REPORTS Carriage does not sit straight upon a table, pin holding the yoke to the carriage missing as a result the yoke is off, Various signs of rust throughout, damage throughout. Damage to the door handle on both sides, loss of paint throughout. Chips and knocks to the metal of the door - see images. Footstep on one side is missing, dent to the door, considerable signs of wear and tear throughout
