Original vintage travel poster published by Renault to advertise the victory and speed records set by the Caudron Rafale aircrafts equiped with Renault engines. This double-sided small poster features on the front a stricking black and white photograph of the Caudron Rafale aircraft piloted by the winner Arnoux during the Deutsch Cup of 1934. On the reverse, the poster lists the victory and records set by the aircraft with its Renault-Bengali engines: Victory by Arnoux, who flew 2.000 kilometres at an average speed of 389kms per hours, in the hardest international speed competition for planes, and also beat the 1000 kilometres speed-record during the same competition, with a speed of 393kms per hour, while earlier, on the same plane, Delmotte had beaten the 100 kilometres world record with an average speed of 431kms per hour. The Caudron Rafale was a fast, two seat French touring monoplane. Soon after its first flight in 1933 it set an international class speed records. The Renault 438, a.k.a. Coupe Deutsch 1934 was a specially developed racing engine, designed and built in France, for use in aircraft competing in the Coupe Deutsch de la Meurthe aircraft races. The Coupe Deutsch de la Meurthe was an international aeronautical speed competition instituted on 25 August 1909 by the French oil magnate Henry Deutsch de la Meurthe. The race was reinstated three times through the years at the initiative of the Aéro-Club de France, and later by Deutsch de la Meurthe's widow Suzanne. Good condition, double-sided, creases. Can only be seen from the edge of your seat!" directed by Henry Hathaway, based on a novel by Max Catto, starring Edward G. Robinson, Rod Steiger, Joan Collins and Eli Wallach. Great image showing an expressive close-up of the characters played by Edward G. Robinson (as Theo Wilkins) smoking a cigar and Rod Steiger (as Paul Mason) with a scantily dressed Joan Collins (as Melanie) behind them and shadows projected on the side, a casino roulette table in the foreground next to the title text in stylised yellow letters, the rest of the text around the image in yellow and white letters. A charming original vintage 1960's Tri-ang / Triang made child's pedal car ' Tractor '. Plastic body in red, with silver painted engine and grill. Metal chassis and pedal arrangement. Marked 'Triang' to side. Metal seat. Wonderful complete example. Measures approx 70cm long. From a private collection of vintage pedal cars. Most of which have been fully and professionally restored to a better-than-factory condition. Where electrics are fitted, they are fully working, and where engines are fitted these too are also fully working. An incredible condition vintage Corgi Toys diecast model No. 261 ' James Bond Aston Martin DB5 '. The best we've ever seen. The gold Aston being mint to mint+ (one VERY tiny paint chip / imperfection to the roof), on a mint display stand, and within a mint to mint+ original outer box. Complete with the ' Secret Instructions ' (still sealed) and the pamphlet. Complete with both ejector seat figures (one in the car, the other sealed in the Instructions) and the James Bond 007 figure to the drivers seat. The nicest example of this popular Corgi model we've ever seen. Rare.

An incredible condition original vintage Corgi Toys made diecast model No. 261 ' James Bond Aston Martin DB5 '. One of the nicest we have seen - the model comes in very very near mint condition (a tiny split in the windscreen - likely from the factory), a very near mint display stand and a very near mint original box. Comes with the ejector seat figure and the factory sealed ' Secret Instructions ' (which will contain the spare figure, instructions, and patch). Also retains the Corgi leaflet. A rare and impressive example of this classic 007 James Bond model.
