A wheel-lock rifle dating: first quarter of the 18th Century provenance: Germany Octagonal, rifled, 16 mm cal. barrel, with foresight and sight notch chiselled at the base; lock with inside wheel and smooth, flat plate, provided with revolving pan featuring a lateral, protective sheath and sliding cover; another, large sheath protects the jaws, with slightly chiselled spring. Wooden full stock chiselled and engraved with spirals near the mounts, on the neck a wide seat for the thumb, cheek-piece decorated with a bone and mother of pearl tarsia depicting a wind rose surrounded by spirals. Trigger and set trigger, mechanic to be checked. Brass mounts, trigger guard, wooden and brass patch-box, at the back an inlay featuring the inscription "j8j2". A percussion target rifle by Dasch in Graz dating: mid-19th Century provenance: Tyrol Rifled, three-stage, 11 mm cal. barrel, octagonal, the faceted and octagonal again at the nozzle, with relieved muzzle, provided with fore -and rear-sight, signed "DASCH IN GRAZ" in silver; the tang engraved with floral motifs and provided with a peep-sight. Lock with upside-down hammer, flat plate engraved with floral motifs and provided with a wide spark arrester. Briarwood half stock, the mouth chiselled with foliage, checkered at the neck and under the barrel, grip with a large seat for the thumb, butt with cheek-piece and floral chiselling. Brass mounts, trigger guard with guard, trigger and set trigger functioning; brass butt-plate with tails and engraving en suite, a smooth shield at the lower part.Heinrich Dasch (circa 1811 -1853), was named Master and was in charge of his father`s workshop funded in 1848. A breech-loading target rifle by Peterlongo dating: last quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Austria Heavy, octagonal, 5.5 mm cal. barrel, with good rifling, blued, provided with wide tubular foresight, signed "JON PETERLONGO / IN INNSBRUCK"; frame with Martini type mechanic, functioning, provided with opening and loading lever in front of the trigger guard; briarwood butt and fore-end, the first one with cartouches chiselled with wine shoots, cheek-piece, checkered neck with a relieved seat for the thumb, at the neck a wide, adjustable peep-sight, the fore-end chiselled with wine shoots, with a double disassembling lever. AYDT", provided with trigger and set trigger, with trigger guard functioning as loading lever; wooden butt and fore-end, both partly checkered; butt with wide cheek-piece and seat for the thumb; iron mounts, butt-plate with tail, the ending portion of the trigger guard with disassembling lever.
