This five keeper Jaguar has been in the vendor's ownership since 2012 during which time it has been stored in a well ventilated garage and used very sparingly. We have been advised that during the 1990's it was subject to restoration work including a bare metal respray and the rear chrome-work renovated, new chains and core plugs at 98,000 miles, front and rear shocks and springs, front wing repair sections and front and rear valances fitted. During the early 2000's it was fitted with a new overdrive unit, front bumper and over-riders re-chromed and new Wilton carpet set to the front and rear. During 2011 and just prior to the vendor's purchase it had new brake servo, hoses, check valve, vacuum tank and shield fitted. In addition, a brand new SU original spec fuel pump, supplied by Barretts, was fitted. Around 5,500 miles have been covered during the last twenty-five years since these works have been undertaken. It comes complete with many MoTs dating from 1993 to 2017 when last issued, the original periodic maintenance booklet recording services until 1966 by the supplying main dealer, some tax discs, a few receipts, handbook, original Irvin safety harness leaflet and some restoration photos. The mileage is recorded at 04,333.

A group of four tribal carved wooden items, comprising a small Ethiopian tripod stool, with circular seat and organic style curved legs 19.5 by 18cm, a Namibian Himba tribe style neck rest, with pierced geometric carved decoration raised upon a conical base, 12 by 10.2 by 16cm high, and two zoomorphic neck rests, one African tortoise form neckrest, 33 by 12.5 by 8.8cm high, and a Zulu style neckrest, 32.2 by 5.5 by 10cm high. An African ofram wood Art Deco style dressing table, with large circular mirror and an arrangement of low level drawers and glass shelves, 180 by 55 by 170cm high, together with a matching stool with burgundy leatherette seat and hinged door compartment, 34 by 36cm high, all custom made in Accra, Ghana, by Mr Shamoon (Lebanese), in 1950, to the client's design. Pair 19th century Chinese Huanghuali and Hongmu hardwood master arm chairs, finely carved and pierced rails, splat and apron. Qing Dynasty circ 1860-80. 60cm wide 46cm deep 100cm high The pair of chairs are in excellent condition. Both chairs have some light rubbing /lighter finish to the wood on the top of the elbows and along the top rail. One chair has a small chip and numerous small nibbles to the back pierced splat bottom of the circular disc. This chair also has a small split to the back rail of the seam support.The other chair has a pale strip down the back inside of the back leg. The central seat panel is slightly too far forward leaving a larger groove to the back.
