A Victorian branch form wrought iron garden seat. Height to top of back 87 cm, width 130 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The bench is structurally sound. The bottom left-hand bolt to the back is missing. There do not appear to be any losses to the branches or any repairs but again it is difficult to tell what is beneath flaking paint. The arms are both in good order as is the seat. The bottoms of the legs and feet are a little rusty.
An early 20th century Georgian style armchair, with oval back and stuffover seat upholstered in pink foliate patterned material and raised on turned and fluted front legs. Height to top of back 90 cm, width across arms 54 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top rail has been broken in two areas and is loose. This is +/- 6” up from the top of the arm. The remainder of the frame is in generally good order with only minor scuffs and blemishes and there are no repairs. The upholstery to the back and seat is reasonable with only minor staining. The arms are rubbed and holed.
An antique oak Wainscot chair, with rectangular panelled back and scratch moulded stiles with shaped arms, solid seat and raised on turned legs with stretchers. Height to top of back 85 cm, width across arms 57 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chair is a little loose at the joints and there is some left to right movement and back to front movement. It is however serviceable. The rear panel has a gap between the two planks from which it is constructed. There is however no significant movement. The arms are solid with no joint movements. The turned supports beneath are in good order. The seat has numerous old marks as one would expect. The front legs on all stretchers are in good condition. The rear legs of both have repairs. The right-hand facing leg is secure. The left-hand bottom section of the leg requires some attention.
A Georgian mahogany musical longcase clock by Ferguson of Dundee, playing six tunes on nine bells, the three train movement also striking, the case with well figured trunk door flanked by canted angles and with conforming base. Height 220 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The hand to select the tunes is missing. The tunes are - Masons Song, Balance a Straw, God Save The King, A Cotillion, Lovely Nancy and Corn Rigs. We have the weights and pendulum. The movement winds on all three trains. We have had the mechanism ticking but not striking or playing the tunes. The case is in reasonably good condition with no major issues. The hood is in good order all round with only minor stress fractures to the mahogany in places. The door is not warped. The long trunk door is well figured. It is very slightly warped when closed at the top left-hand corner. The lock plate is present as is the rear of the lock (which is detached). We have no key. There is a small piece of moulding to the left of the lock escutcheon which is detached. We have the piece. The sides of the trunk are in generally good condition. The base has stress fractures to the veneers on the front panel. The bracket feet are all present and in good order. The backboard has some minor traces of what appears to be old long gone woodworm. The seat board to the movement is not original and it is possible that the cheeks on which it rests have been cut down. With the door open it is possible to read the tune plate and the mask around the dial does fit fairly well. It is when the door is closed that the tune plate is not fully visible. The seat board to the movement is not original and it is possible that the cheeks on which it rests have been cut down. A Victorian rosewood framed nursing chair, with upholstered back and seat and serpentine front rail raised on cabriole legs. Height to top of back 95 cm, width across seat front 51 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chair is in generally very good condition. It is structurally sound. The exposed showframe is in very good order with no signs of any repairs or restoration. There are no loose joints. The legs are in good order with no damage. The upholstery to both the seat and back is also in good order. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
A set of ten Sunday School Chapel chairs, typical form with solid seats and turned legs. CONDITION REPORT: The chairs are all structurally fairly sound and in generally good order. Three have minor fractures to the seat areas but not significantly or problematically so. All chairs have the rear book shelf. Eight of the ten chairs have also had something else attached to the back of each chair below the seat area. This is evidenced by paler timber and drill holes. All stretchers are present and in generally good order. One chair has evidence of old long gone woodworm to the left-hand side of the seat. Others also have minor traces in places but in our opinion this is long gone.
A Victorian cast iron branch form garden seat, detached arm. Height 85 cm, width 130 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The right-hand facing arm is detached and broken. We do have the arm. There do not appear to be any losses to the arm which fits back into position and should be repairable. Again we can see no repairs or losses to the frame but it is difficult to know what is beneath all of the flaking layers of paint. The frame seems structurally sound with no movement.
A set of six Victorian rosewood dining chairs, each with bowed top rail, carved mid rail, stuffover seats and raised on turned tapered front legs. CONDITION REPORT: The chairs are generally structurally sound. There do not appear to be any repairs. One chair is slightly loose at the rear leg joints. Another has the front seat rail missing which should be visible on our images. The polish to all chairs is a little tired and dusty. Two chair seats have more recently been upholstered and are paler in colour. The remaining four are generally a little tired with varying spots and marks and one has an edge tear.
A pair of American style Windsor type armchairs, with leather upholstered and studded seats and raised on turned legs. Height to top of back 114 cm, width across arms 55 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both chairs are structurally sound and in generally very good order. There are no loose joints and no repairs or restorations that we can see. The darker of the two chairs has some very minor traces of what appears to be long gone woodworm to the outer extremities of the seat. The leather upholstery is in generally good order with no holes and no significant scratching. Both seats have one slightly rubbed and faded area which may be visible on our images. The leather whilst it does have some age does not look to be original and there has probably been a covering prior to this.

CONDITION REPORT: The bench is structurally sound with no movement at the joints. As far as we can tell there do not appear to have been any repair, however the bench does have numerous coats of flaking paint. We do not think that there are any losses to the branches. The legs all appear to be in good order. The feet are fairly rusty.
