A Victorian Upholstered Armchair, stamped Holland & Sons, Mount Street, London, late 19th century, recovered in floral cream buttoned fabric, the overstuffed back support, arms and seat on ring-turned forelegs with castors69cm by 64cm by 86cmSlight variations in colour to the fabric. The back support and arms are slightly grubby (see photographs). There are some general scuffs around the legs. The front-left leg has some evidence of previous nail marks from upholstery.

AMENDED DESCRIPTION, Manner of Morris & Co., nine Sussex type ebonised chairs, circa 1900, all rush seated, one chair with no seat, with variations to stretchers and backs (9)Condition Report: There are 7 chairs which are a near set, with only minor size variations. Then there are two individual chairs which are similar.Overall all the chairs are in a jaded houseworn condition with unmatched strung seats.Of the 7, 3 would need work on the joints, the others are little bit loose but useable. One chair has no seat and one chair has its front legs and side stretchers off and there is a loss to the corner seat block. A top rail is broken on another chair and one chair has two detached stretchers. The single chair with simulated bamboo legs needs its seat re-rushing and is lacking its right stretcher. The the other single chair has an area of loss to its seat.
