A Fine English 17th Century Turned Oak Side chair. The back composed of five baluster & fillet turned spindles with pendant acorn finials held between similarly turned cross-bars and flanked by turned uprights with finial-knop surmounts. The sunken plank seat in a raised frame to retain a swab cushion, standing on a fully bobbin-turned base of legs united by high peripheral stretchers and an H-form under-stretcher, terminating on block feet.
A Rare 19th Century Red Walnut Crofter's Rocking Chair composed of two shaped side boards pierced and wedged with a series of round crossbars forming the back and seat with a shaped plank head rest screwed into the through tenon joined top rail and further through jointed rails to the base. Standing on rockers 40 ins (102 cms) high, 19¼ ins (49 cms) wide.
An 18th Century Hereford/Welsh Borders Hoop Back Armchair, with residual green paint-work. The bent-ash hoop back with seven long spindles flanked by eight further spindles morticed through the arm bow, and turned end supports. The seat on turned legs united by an H-form stretcher. The whole retaining residual dark green paint-work, 39 ins (99 cms) in height, 21½ ins (55 cms) wide.
A Primitive Irish Spindle Back Armchair, attributed to County Wicklow. The top rail curved at the corners and adjoining six back spindles; the outer two piercing through the thick armrests, with two smaller spindle supports either side. The slab seat morticed through & wedged with splayed legs. 29½ ins (75 cms) high, 23 ins (59 cms) wide.
A 19th Century Child's Country Armchair. The two turned elliptical back spindles held between round-section rails flanked by round turned uprights with nipple finials. The flat bowed arms pegged onto baluster turned front supports leading down to a plank seat slotting into round side & rear rails and raised on chamfered legs joined by peripheral stretchers. The whole bearing traces of reddish brown paintwork, 24¾ ins (63 cms) high, 15 ins (38 cms) wide, 10½ ins (27 cms) deep.

The intricately pierced upper & lower centre splat flanked by eight long spindles piercing the arm bow with six further under-arm spindles and well turned end supports. The elm seat on turned baluster legs with ball feet, united by a crinoline stretcher, 43½ ins (110 cms) high, 21 ins (53 cms) wide.

The barleytwist uprights capped with nipple finials & adjoining the caned seat with lunette carved moulded edges. The tall bobbin turned legs united by an H-form stretcher and terminating on splayed feet, with a foot rest to the front.
A Late 15th/Early16th Century Oak Table Chair circa 1490-1500. The planked tilt top/back adjoining the arms above enclosed sides of single fold parchemin panels. The box seat having a plank lid and fronted by double fold parchemin panels. 28 ins (71 cms) in height, the top/back measuring 29 ins x 25 ins (74 cms x 64 cms).
A 17th Century Oak Wainscot Armchair. The triple arched top rail carved with central foliate lunettes and having lug terminals above a guilloche plait of seven flowers flanked by scrolling leafy ear-pieces. The square back panel having a central rosette within a roundel border issuing large corner flower heads flanked by chip carved uprights enhanced with punchwork. The arms raised on reel turned supports leading down to the plank seat above a foliate lunette carved rail adjoining turned legs and peripheral block stretchers.
A 16th Century & Later Flemish Gothic Oak Settle. The top having a moulded cornice above four small fielded panels carved with floral roundels bordered by interlacing grapevines. The four large back panels intricately carved with tracery of varying design above four smaller parchemin panels. The uprights enriched with Gothic arches leading down to the long lion-carved arms. The box seat having a hinged lid with a large ornamental iron lock plate above four profusely carved Gothic tracery panels. Standing on stile feet 63½ ins (161 cms) wide, 62 ins (158 cms).
A 17th Century Oak Wainscot Chair. The crested top rail carved with joined leafy twin-scrolls and having protuberant S-scroll 'ear pieces' adjoining the run-moulded rails. The back composed of four panels enhanced with channelled lozenges highlighted with punchwork and issuing fluttering pennants at the corners. The down- swept arms raised on column turned supports above palmate carved tenons blocks joined to the plank seat. The legs united by peripheral block stretchers.

The back panel boldly carved with a flowering plant issuing foliate scrolls. The downswept arms raised on urn & ball turned supports adjoining the plank seat. The baluster legs united by a barley twist front stretcher.
A Rare 17th Century Oak Chair-Table. The round planked top/back inscribed with the owners initials; E.H and dated 1668. The shaped bracket supports pivoted to the seat with knopped pegs, the arms incised with wispy scrolls and chipe carved rosette whorls to the terminals above short column turned supports. The engrailed box seat with a butterfly hinged lid above a lunette carved rail and a panel of flower-headed C-scrolls. The top measuring 33 ins (84 cms) in diameter. 25 ins (63 cms) high, 20 ins (51 cms) wide, 18 ins (46 cms) deep. The seat with moulded edge on egg- turned legs with a high well-turned front stretcher and plain stretchers to the sides and rear.

The barley twist uprights surmounted by carved finials. The five foot (153 cm) long caned seat in a punch-worked frame raised on six barley-twist legs united by similarly turned stretchers.
