A 1950s Italian dining suite by Umberto Mascagni, having cream and black vinyl covering, comprising; rectangular dining table on tapering supports, set of four padback and seat dining chairs, and a sideboard with three central drawers flanked by twin cupboard doors (6) Condition Report / Extra Information Two foot glides missing from chairs. Leather on chairs slightly grubby but complete. Chairs are wobbly/unstable. Table and sideboard stand well. Some general handling wear, staining and grubbiness throughout.

A 19th Century mahogany framed barrel back green upholstered wing armchair, on turned and ringed front supports to castors CONDITION REPORTS Some slight movement to the frame, front legs are mahogany and have some wear, scuffs and chips, back legs have possible later replacements and plate of castors is larger than the base of the legs, various wear and chips and one leg very woodworm eaten, chair is upholstered so unable to check wood from which main part of frame is constructed, back castors with very heavy wear and chips and are flat to one side (not circular), front castors appear to be separating/coming apart, has relatively modern dralon type upholstery. Height of back 109 cm, width across arms approx 73 cm, depth of seat cushion approx 50 cm front to back.
A circa 1900 stained beech framed window seat in the Louis XV manner, with over-stuffed green velvet upholstery, the show frame with scroll and leaf decoration throughout, on cabriole legs to scroll feet, 69 cm wide max CONDITION REPORTS Significant losses to the tops of each c-scroll to tops of stool. There is splitting at the joins. Knocks and some minor losses all over the frame. Has been reupholstered and appears to have had some restoration to the frame itself over the years.. General knocks, wear, scuffs etc conducive with age and use.
A pair of 19th Century Chinese ebonised hardwood (probably huanghuali) horseshoe back armchairs, the curved top rail above a sloping back splat with carved medallion decoration over a panel seat (formerly caned) with shaped apron on turned legs united by stretchers and flattened foot rail CONDITION REPORTS The paintwork has significant scrapes and flaking all over and have splitting to joins. There is a chunk missing at the bottom left arm support. Seat has been replaced. Second chair has significant losses to paintwork, there is a chunk missing from the back left hand lower leg and the apron beneath the seat panel has had some restoration, seat panel is a later replacement. Both general have wear, surface scratches, dust etc conducive with age and use. Please see images. Seat 38 cm off ground, seat i59 cm wide, seat 44.5 cm deep, back 85 cm off ground, arms bow out to a maximum of 64.5 cm.
A pair of George II Irish walnut framed carver dining chairs in the Chippendale taste, the carved vase shaped back splat flanked by two swept open arms over an upholstered seat and square moulded supports united by stretchers CONDITION REPORTS Chair 1 : some damage to the joints, right arm is loose with repairs, various splitting and losses, back splat with repaired section to lower portion, some small holes to the body throughout, evidence of repaired sections throughout, various chips and losses, scratches, etc. Chair 2 : joints require attention, small holes throughout, some missing sections of wood, evidence of woodworm holes, replacement sections of wood, stretcher is broken, joints at base of chair are broken, evidence of further repairs, splits, losses, chips, etc. Both chairs with large amount of wear and tear throughout.
A set of seven George III mahogany dining chairs in the Chippendale manner, the acanthus carved top rails above an ornate openwork back splat flanked by reeded supports to the upholstered serpentine fronted seats on square moulded and chamfered front supports united to the outsplayed back supports by stretchers, and a further 18th Century Chippendale style dining chair, the central carved panel above a tapestry upholstered seat flanked by swept arms on square front supports united by stretchers
An early 20th Century beech and elm Thames Valley Windsor wheel and stick back armchair, bearing makers stamp "A.H" CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs, has had some repairs and re-gluing to joints, various age splits and some chips (please see photos for examples). Height of back 105 cm, width of arms 60.5 cm, width of seat 48 cm, depth of seat front to back 49 cm.
A Victorian Windsor style ash stick back elbow chair, the central carved splat above a plain seat on ringed and turned supports united by stretchers CONDITION REPORTS Wear and scuffs, several large splits to seat and arm support has pushed through by one of the splits (please see photos), generally with wear and patination, and appear to have been some repairs, some chips, some old woodworm holes to the shaped back splat. Height of back 103 cm, width of arms 56 cm, width of seat, 49 cm, depth of seat 38 cm.
