Richard Rayment of Bury St Edmunds (1686-1754) - a mid-18th century walnut longcase clock, the arched brass dial (w.12") having Old Father Time automata to the arch, the ring inscribed Tempus Fugit, and within dolphin spandrels, the dial having matted centre with signed plaque, chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals within cast brass mask spandrels, wheat-ear engraved surround, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar dial, twin winding holes for an eight day five pillar weight driven movement striking on a bell, the figured walnut case with arched panelled door having feather banding to a reduced boxbase, h.227cm Condition Report / Extra Information Left hand fret carving to hood is later. We believe clock case, dial and movement all belong. Case with some restoration and water damage. Boxbase later or re-veneered. The whole case with minor veneer patch repairs. Seat board with repair. Cheeks rebuilt. Back board varnished. Movement and dial good, grubby but appears all original. With weights and pendulum. Old Father Time automata is loose.
A Victorian mahogany framed humpback chaise-longue, raised on acanthus leaf and C scroll carved French cabriole supports, the whole re-upholstered in a salmon pink buttonback dralon, w.170cm, seat d.50cm, seat h.37cm Condition Report / Extra Information Upholstery faded and lightly stained. Stands well. Frame good and strong. Legs with no breaks. Frame with some minor knocks and scuffs etc.

Right hand stool - gesso losses around base, losses along shoe, 1" shrinkage split from bottom lip, split and chip to rear left of base. Both with some age and handling wear but appear all original and unrestored.
A pair of Venetian Blackamoor stools, circa 1860, each having stuffover seat, ebonised and parcel gilt with painted features, h.54cm, w.60cm, d.35cm Condition Report / Extra Information Left hand stool - some gesso losses around plinths at front, gesso loss to base of trousers, fine approx 6" vertical hairline from neck downwards, chip to gesso on right hand side halfway up, chips and cracks to gesso on front right hand side halfway up, loss to gesso on shoe. Right hand stool - chips and losses to gesso on plinth, small chip and loss to gesso at base of trousers. Both otherwise good and original with some age and handling wear, gilt wear to extremities.

Right hand stool - small gesso losses to front centre, losses to gilt at knee, hairline with some fracturing to gesso from neck downwards, gesso chip above left knee. Both otherwise good and original with some age wear and giltwear mostly to extremities. Six tassels missing.
A rare percussion pistol by Bruera dating: second quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Torino Smooth, octagonal, 16.5 mm cal. barrel, decorated with silver bands at the edges (gilt bands at the base) and a row of short fullers, the corners with fluted decorations, the back with a white metallic cartouche featuring the signature "Bruera a Torino"; at the lower parts the seat for the ramrod (missing), the breech chiselled with floral motifs. Interesting mechanic inside the butt, with rear hammer slightly off-centre and provided at the base with a plaque chiselled with racemes. Wooden grip finely chiselled with net pattern enclosing flowers with iron buttons (some missing), butt-plate with a ring for the strap, iron trigger guard chiselled en suite with the other mounts. Interesting. dimensions: length 30 cm.
A rare and interesting Dumonthier dagger combined with double-barrelled pistol dating: third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: France Strong, straight, double-edged blade of lenticular section, with a thin, central fuller on almost the entire length, on a side of the blade the mark "DUMONTHIER / BREVETE D.on / A MOUDAN", provided with a muzzle-loading barrel on each side, with smooth bore and 10 mm caliber; iron quillon, the parry arms consist in the hammers and hide the nipples, when lifted they automatically extract the two foldaway triggers placed within the grip. Thick, brass grip scales, worked with twisted grooves, curved pommel with a fine, bas-relieved trophy of arms on dotted ground; also provided with a small loop at the edge. Complete with the wooden scabbard with brown leather covering (slightly damaged), with a seat both for the blade and the barrels; provided with brass mounts, cap with small hook. dimensions: length 50 cm.
