A pair of original 19th Century Circa 1860's Coalbrookdale cast iron medallion pattern garden benches. Both catalogue reference No. 35 with central plaque depicting a maiden holding birds among scrolling flowers & leaves to the backrests. The arms further decorated with botanicals and birds having ball finial tops. All raised on elegant horse hoof legs with wooden slatted seats. Stamped C B Dale to front with correct date lozenge and reference to verso. In original condition with the weathered paint finish due to age. Some repairs in places over the years and bolt repair to one leg however leg is loose but sits on via the rod / bolt. A rare and scarce pair of Victorian Coalbrookdale benches.
