A 19th century primitive Welsh beech and elm chair with curved crested rail and five spindle back to outswept crook arms to a D-shaped rustic seat and turned legs CONDITION REPORTS Approx. height of seat 38 cm, seat itself with assorted woodworm holes, orange-like putty in various places - possibly filler?, assorted scratches, minor losses throughout, chair is overall very rickety, some loose legs, same "filler" substance to top of arms, arms are also loose, some splits in wood to back of seat, under seat and under arms are painted red, general signs of wear and tear throughout including scratches, marks, etc.
A pair of 19th Century beech, ash and elm stick back kitchen chairs with panelled seats CONDITION REPORTS First chair 88.5 cm tall at back, 40 cm tall at seat. Second chair approx. 88 m at back, 40- cm tall at seat. First chair with long old splits to seat, assorted scratches, dents and other marks, split low down on the back rail, top with assorted splits and scratches, top of one spindle showing through rail, chair wobbles slightly on flat surface, most joints creaking, general signs of wear and tear throughout, also a split running up one of the legs.
