H.3ft 6in.CONDITION: These chairs look to date to the early to mid 20th century and have seen some restoration and re-upholstery some years ago, overall of an even dark brown mahogany colour, with some rubbing to the extremities, principally the tops of the arms and some light scuffing around the feet, front seat rails show a little variation in colour, frames solid.

A Louis XIV style carved giltwood stool, with upholstered seat and scroll and harebell carved squared tapered legs with interlaced stretcher and fluted bun feet, W.5ft 4in. D.1ft 6in. H.1ft 8in.CONDITION: Upholstery is a little faded particularly at the left hand end with the braided trim coming loose, gilding overall has an attractive semi bright tone but with numerous tiny little lost flakes of gilding now showing through with the white of the gesso, one or two old separations in the joints of the stretcher and some scuffing to the feet but overall good order.

An Alvar Aalto for Finmar Ltd model 31 cantilever chair, W.1ft 11.75in. D.2ft 4in. H.2ft 3in.CONDITION: Looks to be in original if well used condition, seat and frame have faded to a light golden somewhat bleached colour, arms are rubbed where one would expect from use, underside is damp splashed and again with loss of original colouring, bears the Finmar London label to the stretcher beneath the front of the seat, should restore to good effect.

A Svensson and Sandstrom Swedish moulded plastic chair, upholstered in buttoned brown fabric with light tan coloured frame, circa 1960 W.2ft 5in. D.2ft 9in. H.3ft 2in.CONDITION: Overall in fair original condition, original upholstery has very light wear and looks a little scruffy but will clean up to good effect, bucket seat and underframe in good order with a few small scuffs at the back and one or two slightly discoloured patches, the cross shaped foot is lighter in colour than the seat and has a little scuffing showing the aluminium bleeding through at the tips.
