Churchill (W S) A signed letter from Prime Minister Winston Churchill to the Rt Hon Sir David Eccles KCVO, appointing him as Minister of Education, the letter dated 18th October 1954, an invitation to a Presentation to Sir Winston Churchill on his 80th Birthday and car parking, access and clothing advice for the presentation. In a wartime by-election in 1943, David Eccles was elected Member of Parliament for Chippenham and he held this seat until 1962.
