The uprights carved with urns issuing flowers; supporting the down-swept arms and flanking the plank seat with iron hinges. The lower panel carved with a mask centring intertwining leaves and flowers. 31½ ins (80 cms) in height, 47 ins (120 cms) width, 17 ins (43.5 cms) deep.

A Fine 17th Century Wainscot Chair probably of Yorkshire origin, having a good colour & patination. The deep shaped cresting rail enriched with a chip-carved fountain of scroll-ended plumes and pendant flower heads flanking a scrollwork centre design defined against a recessed pitted ground. The flanking S-scroll 'ear-pieces' having stained channels embellished with incising, protruding either side of the moulded uprights with split spindle appliqués. The back panel displaying a foliated motif raised against a nail-punched rebate within a stained & punch-worked lozenge channel surrounded by fluttering pennants. The down-swept arms resting on reel turned posts leading down to a planked seat and marrow turned legs united by plain peripheral stretchers.
A 17th Century Oak Yorkshire Wainscot Armchair. The shaped cresting rail carved with S-scrolls issuing husk flowers; the voluted ends forming lobe terminals above S-scroll 'ear pieces' flanking run-moulded rails with dogtooth inlay & bordering an upper panel of overlapping lunette's and a lower panel of a large foliate demi-lune enclosing two small rosettes. The down-swept arms raised on baluster turned supports above the plank seat and lunette carved frieze. The barrel turned legs joined by block stretchers.
A 17th Century Salisbury Joined Oak Armchair. The top rail carved with foliate lunettes flanked by run-moulded uprights. The back panel centred a roundel issuing leafy sprays and tulip headed spears within a shaped border. The down swept scroll arms raised on ring turned barrel supports adjoining the plank seat above a carved frieze and barrel turned legs, joined by block stretchers.
A Fine 17th Century Joined Oak Box Settle of good colour & patination. The top rail carved with an undulating trail of foliage bearing clusters of berries and having dragon head terminals above a triple panelled back. Each panel enriched with a flowering plant issuing flower heads, hanging bunches of grapes, rosettes and tulips with a fanned bloom to the centre panel. The arms resting on baluster turned posts. The box-form seat having a hinged lid and incised zig-zag & dot decoration to the muntins. The later long feather-filled swab cushion & side cushions covered in blue & cream floral fabric edged in piping. 41 ins (104 cms) high, 53 ins (135 cms) wide, 16 ins (40 cms) deep.

The deep crested top rail carved with scrolling stems of foliage encircling flower heads flanked by dragons. The back panel carved with further foliate scrolls and flowers with a fanned bloom to the centre, defined against a recessed pitted ground. The uprights with pyramidal finials. The scroll end arms on turned posts leading down to the edge-moulded plank seat and on to form the turned legs united by peripheral stretchers. 41¾ ins (106 cms) high, 23½ ins (60 cms) wide, 22 ins (56 cms) deep. A Fabulous 17th Century Lancashire/North Cheshire Wainscot Chair of rich colour & patination. The top rail cut with crested waves edged in a raised band with elongated S-scrolls of foliate strap-work defined against a rebated & pitted ground. The generous back panel richly carved with a flowering carnation flanked by scrolling stems issuing rosettes, daisy wheels and voluted tendrils displayed against a speckly nail-punched ground and framed in moulding. The scroll end arms on turned cannon barrel posts. The edge-moulded seat on turned legs with square feet united by peripheral stretchers.
A Fine Mid 17th Century Salisbury Joined Oak Box Seat Armchair. The lunette carved top rail surmounted by a chip carved arch and flanked by double chip carved uprights with ball turned finials. The shaped arms raised by long barrel turned supports leading down to the splayed box seat with a hinged lid. The run-moulded front rail bearing an iron lock plate & clasp above barrel turned legs joined by stretchers.
A Rare 17th Century Carved Oak Metamorphic Chair of good colour & patination. The back richly carved in the Renaissance style with a scrolling cartouche to the centre bearing the initials BWE surmounted by a female face mask and flanked by fruiting vines & a pair of gryphons above scrolling sea serpents. The back carved with a Gothic church in a tabernacle arch. The planked seat hinged at the front and folding over to form a table/stool with the back forming the support. The seat frieze fitted with a side drawer and carved with S-scroll husk flowers retained by a pair of lions' heads to each side. 43½ ins (110 cms) high, 19 ins (49 cms) owde, 18 ins (46 cms) deep.
A mahogany carver armchair with pierced shield shaped splat back and inset seat, a small oak hanging wall shelf, a mahogany double bed head, a needlework basket and stand, a pine floor standing bookcase, 35" wide x 52" high, a crewel work embroidery of flowering branches and a further crewel work embroidered fire screen.
