ARTIST PAINTED CHURCH PEW - 18th c New England Church Pew in pine with mahogany rails, having back painted with Colonial scene by Maine artist Holly Marie Haining, signed lower left, depicting a seaside town, mansion, sailing ships in harbor, sailor plating hornpipe and man cutting down tree, the bench with paneled ends, 17" x 48" painting, 18" tall seat, 36" back and arm, 50" x 17", good condition.
PAINT DECORATED ROCKER - Sheraton Rocker, circa 1840, probably of Pennsylvania origin, in the original pale green paint with dark green and black pinstriping, gold leaf acanthus leaf corners to rail, center fruit cluster, natural finish arms and rockers, 16" tall seat, 24" arm, 46" back, 24" x 32", good condition, minor wear to paint.
MAINE COLONIAL WINDSOR BENCH - Ten-Leg Low Back Windsor Bench in natural finish, having a single plank pumpkin pine seat, urn turned ash legs with h-stretchers, ash back spindles with bent oak arm having shaped leading edge, 17 1/2" tall seat, 27" back, 82 1/4" wide, 21" deep, expected wear, sturdy.
PAIR CARVED FILIPINO CHAIRS - Pair of 1930s Vintage Ifugao Carved Teak Chairs, Banaue, Philippines, in the form of a seated man in loincloth resting his arms on his knees and the heads of smaller figures, the seat supported by three semi-nude women on a platform, all carved from a single trunk of wood, 19 1/2" (49.5 cm) & 20" (50.8 cm) tall seats, 32 1/2" (82.6 cm) & 37" (94.0 cm) arms, 46" (116.8 cm) back, roughly 20" (50.8 cm) x 18" (45.7 cm), inletted repair to seat of one.
(4) INDIAN SILVER CHAIRS - Four Sheraton Form Indian Silver Dining Chairs with Ram`s Head finials to rails, shaped splat, sabre legs, the frames entirely covered in vine repoussed silver, with red moiré satin slip seats, the ram`s heads are fully dimensional and separately cast, 19 1/2" tall seat, 33 3/4" tall back, 20" x 25", good condition. From the Marvin Sadik Collection.
SETTEE - Late 19th or Early 20th c. Chippendale Mahogany Settee with a square back and nicely shaped arms, padded over upholstered seat, cabriole front legs with shell carved knees, ending in bold carved ball and claw feet, upholstered in a brown crewel fabric. Together with an English manufactured matching armchair, 38 1/2" tall, 70 1/2" x 27", good condition, upholstery shows some wear.
QUEEN ANNE STYLE WINDOW SEAT - 19th c Custom Queen Anne Style Window Seat, upholstered in fragment of earlier English needlepoint tapestry, having leaf carved cabriole legs with pad feet, shaped beaded edge skirt, 20 1/2" tall, 38" x 17" at knees, very good condition, old holes in needlepoint, backed by linen.
CHIPPENDALE OTTOMAN - Late 19th c Chippendale Style Mahogany Ottoman or Stool with rectangular padded and upholstered needlepoint seat, gadrooned carved apron, set on four boldly shaped and carved cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carved knees, ending in large ball and claw feet, 20" tall, 22" x 16 1/2" at knees, fine condition.
FRENCH CANADIAN ARMCHAIR - Early French Canadian Provincial Hardwood Armchair, second half 18th c., having shaped crest, carved, molded and waisted stiles, pierced formed backsplat, carved, shaped and molded rams horn arm and arm support, later rush seat, supported by cabriole legs connected by incurved molded stretcher, ending in carved shaped feet, 15 1/2" tall seat, 26 1/2" arm, 40" back, 23" x 22", very good condition.
FEDERAL PERIOD WINGCHAIR - Sheraton Style Wingchair, circa 1800, having mahogany frame with tapered ribbed front legs with brass casters, scrolled arms, deep shaped wings, arched top, self corded cream over gold floral upholstery, self-corded, with loose down cushion, 20" tall seat, 29" arm, 47" back, 31" x 31", casters added to back legs, otherwise good condition.
