A HARLEQUIN SET OF FIVE GEORGE III MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRS, each with an undulating top rail over a pierced splat centred by a tassel, over drop-in seat, on moulded square chamfered legs joined by conforming stretchers, probably Scottish. Comprising a pair of armchairs and three single chairs (5).
A rare William & Mary pair of carved stained beech elbow chairs, each with foliate carved S-scroll crest between ovoid finials to toprail, over conforming scroll edged back panel between baluster turned uprights, the shaped moulded scroll terminal arms with scroll uprights over padded seat, on turned H-stretcher base with scroll front supports with carved front stretcher between, both complete but with extensive repairs, 122cm high. A set of eight Carolean style walnut dining chairs, early 20th century, each with shaped arch top tapestry padded back over conforming seat and foliate carved baluster front supports with X-stretcher and scroll carved trefoil feet, including single carver with scroll terminal arms, 112cm and 108cm high.
A pair of George III provincial mahogany dining chairs, possibly Bristol, each with arcaded toprail over three wavy edge infill uprights to back and with inverted arcade to base, with overstuffed seat and on caddy-moulded square section H-stretchered supports, 95cm high. A late Victorian walnut four-piece bedroom suite to comprise wardrobe with carved top, central panel flanked by mirrored doors over drawers on a plain base, 125 cms. wide, triple mirror dressing table of cheval type with long mirror to the ornate galleried back with drawers to each side, one long drawer to the base on a bracket type support, 112 cms, tile-back marble top wash stand with swing mirror, two cupboard doors on turned supports, 107 cms. and a matching double bedstead with carved and shaped tops, turned columns to the centre and plain panels to the base, 130 cms.
