A brass and leather upholstered club fender, late 20th century and manufactured by Robin Gage, with leather rests on columnar supports and chamfered plinth base, external measurements: 53cm high, 190cm wide, 61cm deep; internal measurements: 168cm wide, 58cm deepCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions, consistent with age and use,The tops of the rests with creases and marks, no screws here, these would need to be sourced by the purchaserNB The photograph in the printed catalogue has been transposed, in fact the tear to the leather is to the right hand side of the fender (not to the left). The image showing on our website has been correct throughout. The left hand seat section is not fixed to the fender.The leather ceased and cracked, especially to the front sections of the seat, with a tear, lacking one section of leather approximately 6cm x 6cm, with other cracks almost torn through. The 'studding' is length of embossed metal trim rather than individual nail studs. Some staining to the leather including green spots close to the torn leather. Dirt and discolouration to the metal areas.
