A Coalbrookdale 'Italian' pattern cast iron seat, late 19th century, in disassembled state, most wooden slats present, each end 68 by 84cm high. This seat is number 17 in the 1875 Coalbrookdale Castings Catalogue, section III, page 249. The design was registered at the Public Record Office No. 50652, circa 1850.

A pair of Arts and Crafts oak framed reclining armchairs by George Scott & Sons of Newcastle-under-Lyme Staffordshire (Provenance: Made by Scott & Sons for a Scott family home in the early 1930's - the workshops closed in 1939 for the war) CONDITION REPORTS Approx 56cm wide x 92cm high. Cushions appear to be later / associated and are smaller than the chairs. Generally with wear, scuffs, some knocks, but overall appear to be in fairly tidy condition. The back/seat section is hinged in the middle and slides on the frame, but is not attached to the frame.
A silver gilt necklace suspending seven 19th century ivory disc opera and theatre passes. Throughout the 19th Century, Opera and Ballet subscribers were issued with admittance tokens. The famous Hollywood costume designer Edith Head made a silver gilt necklace of thirteen with these ivory discs, each engraved with the name of the subscriber, the valid year, theatre and seat allocation. It was bequeathed to Elizabeth Taylor and after her death in 2011 was sold by Christies at the famous sale of the Elizabeth Taylor Collection in New York for $300,000. This necklace is a similar silver gilt copy and suspends seven discs. These include the pass for the Earl of Bristol (1769 - 1859) for 1831 and interestingly to his Opera box 69 ½. The other passes include the name Walter Trevelyn Esq., 1863, Lady Campbell 1841, C Filica Esq., E.H. Maltby Esq.
