A 1979 Suzuki SP400 classic racing/parade motorcycle, not registered, red, from deceased estate. This racing motorcycle has been built as a classic road racer or parade bike and is eligible for CRMC Group 2 Period 3 racing. The built specification is comprehensive and includes the following amongst numerous modifications and special tuning items: A lightened frame with RX swinging arm (to allow wider tyre width), Hagon shocks, Akront aluminium rims, uprated brakes with EBC racing pads, lightened front disc brake, AP CP3125 adjustable front brake master cylinder, adjustable Tomaselli handlebars, Showa forks, Scitsu electronic taco, replica Vic Camp glass fibre seat with integral engine breather/catch tank, glass fibre fuel tank and Meadspeed RG500 Mk III fairing. The engine has been bored and stroked to increase the capacity to 493cc, the cylinder head has been rebuilt with new (larger) Nucleus valves, valve springs, seats, guides, and the ports have been gas flowed, with reshaped combustion chamber. There is a new Newman camshaft fitted and the carburetor is a 40mm Amal Mk II fitted with K&N filter with alloy bellmouth, plus other numerous items.
