Duvernet, an Art Deco bronze figure 'Oblivion' on a marble plinth c.1925, engraved signature 'Duvernet' on top of plinth Modelled and cast as the figure of a crouching woman holding an onyx cup (no cover), raised on a tapering marble plinth 48 cm high Bryan Catley, 'Art Deco and other Figures', Antique Collectors Club, Suffolk, 1978, p143 (similar figure illustrated on a different base with an openwork metal cover on the cup) Condition Report:Small split at the front of the arm (left hand side when you look at it) but not obvious from the top and another on the bottom of the back right foot that grows a little up the side. There are some losses to edges, most obviously on the front facing edges of vertical and horizontals elements, some scars and old marks and general wear in keeping with age and use. Some age separation to joins. There is a fine split across the pale wood inlay panel at the back but it isn't obvious. There is some white spotting on the underside.There is a single loss on one strand to rush on both back panels. There are some small chips to the wood of the seat on the corners. The seat rush looks to have been replaced at some point and there a few marks/stains on the rush but no splits or losses.

A stained beech 'Thebes' stool with upholstered seat c.1900, unmarked, possibly a variant retailed by Liberty & Co The seat frame with reeded edge having a concave upholstered seat, raised on four turned and shaped legs, united by turned stretchers 42.5cm high, seat 48.3 cm squareCondition Report:Front left openwork strap at the bottom is loose - screw is still there but has possibly lost the bolt on the inside. There are four small drilled holes on the face, in the corners, but it is unclear if this is intentional or if something else should have been there.Rubbing to high pints of the decoration and the dial. The patina is irregular and uneven. Overall natural wear. Other stretchers are in poor condition and are repaired and glued and with small slithers missing. Age separation to joins is pronounced. A pair of Regency white and gilt painted single chairs of Gothic design CONDITION REPORT: Condition of caning split to one seat at side, gap in joints at front legs on one chair, same chair missing roundel at back and noticeable chipping to paint work. Back of same chair with repaired leg, rocks on floor. Other chair with split to splat, chipping and rubbing to legs, clusters also chipped.
