MIES VAN DER ROHE - A pair of mid-century MR10 cantilever lounge chairs, with brown leather upholstery on tubular metal frame. No maker's marks. One has ink stain to back panel. The other has some marks and abrasions consistent with age and use. Both have some cracking to the leather beneath the seat through one of the double layers, and some age related marks to the frames. Please see additional photographs.
A pair of high end contemporary design slipper chairs in patterned leather with chrome detailing, with maker's metal logo. Ex Claridge's. Overall 56x79x58cm, seat 56x42x44cm. Generally good condition, some scratches to to the leather upholstery, and general use related knocks and marks to the frame. We do not know who the manufacturer is. ERNEST RACE - A mid-century DA1 1st edition sofa with aluminium legs in black boucle upholstery, ca. 1946. Overall 150x72x85cm, seat 133x36x60cm.Used condition. Upholstery is original and showing signs of age. Frame has a snapped strut under middle of the front causing some sagging to the seat.
A Victorian carved oak and walnut piano stool, with upholstered seat and back and revolving rise and fall mechanism.Lowest overall height 77cm. Evidence of a glue repair to one column on base. Various use related marks and scratches. Has been re-upholstered to a poor standard. Base appears to have been made up from various pieces of furniture.
