James Bond 007 - Sean Connery (1930-2020) - a scarce original autographed vintage 1968 'The James Bond Annual'. Signed on Page 17 in blue ink, undedicated. The autograph on the page featuring Bond in his Naval Uniform. The annual generally in excellent original condition. Provenance: (from the vendor) - The annual was signed by Sean Connery in the early 1980s when I drove Connery from Turnberry Golf Course to the Turnberry Hotel during the recording of Pro-Celebrity Golf in July. Connery was not amused when his designated driver didn't turn up at the correct time and was left waiting. I offered to drive him there in my campervan as I was heading there myself and he accepted. He sat in the passenger seat whilst my wife sat in the back. Whilst driving there he very kindly signed this annual for me. Later on when his designated driver discovered that I had taken him instead, Connery simply told him ' tough!'.
