A Coalbrookdale Gothic Pattern cast iron garden seat, second half 19th century, redecorated overall, the openwork back with central armorial within a raised oval reserve, flanked by crocketed arcading, the arms cast with scrolling foliage, the reverse stamped No. 99277, CB-DALE and with lozenge date stamp, 94cm high, 152cm wide The design number 99277 was registered and patented by the Coalbrookdale Iron Foundry on 5th February 1854. It is featured as seat number 22 in their Castings Catalogue of 1875, Section III, page 253 Provenance: The collection of the late Ronnie Kirkwood and George Dixon.

A vintage G-Plan 'The Sixty Two' large winged button-back swivel chair raised on four 'orbit' period castors and rosewood stretchers. CONDITION REPORT The base of seat needs to be re-strung, fabric is in overall good condition, one area has two very small pieces of fabric missing, one area has seven consecutive very small puncture marks, swivel and castors in good working order.
